• Start: 21 November 2026, at 11:00 AM
• End: 5 December 2026, by 5:00 PM

Application Fee

• Tk. 100 (one hundred taka)
• The notice says the fee must be paid only by SMS from a Teletalk prepaid mobile number.

To complete the process, you must fill in the application form and pay the fee within the dates above. An application without payment is not complete, so keep a Teletalk SIM with balance ready.

Age Rule for Class 3

The notice bases the age rule on the National Education Policy 2010 and the government secondary school admission policy. According to the notice:

• For Class 1 in the 2027 session, the student should be 6+ years old, as shown by the school testimonial and the online birth registration certificate.
• The minimum age is 5 years, meaning a birth date on or before 1 January 2021.
• The maximum age is 7 years, meaning a birth date on or after 31 December 2018.
• The age for Class 3 admission is then determined accordingly.

What This Means for Parents

The Class 1 limits are the starting point, and the Class 3 age range is worked out from them. Because the notice does not list the exact Class 3 birth dates, parents should check the age details on the Teletalk portal and the DSHE website before applying. Always use the online birth registration certificate as the proof of age, and check that the date of birth in it is correct.

Selection: Online Lottery

The notice says the date of the online lottery will be announced later. Selection for government secondary schools is made through a lottery rather than an entrance exam, so every eligible applicant has the same chance. After applying, watch the official websites and the school notice board for the lottery announcement.

Quotas

The notice states that all quotas applicable under government policy will remain reserved. The detailed quota percentages are not listed in this notice, so parents who may qualify under a quota should read the full rules on the official websites and prepare any proof documents in advance.
